Location

From downtown Basalt on Midland Ave head directly east. If you know where Tempranillo Restaurant is located, start there and head east. Bring your bike.

If you like your privacy, this remote area may be for you. Although remote, you are within minutes of downtown Basalt. There are a limited number of homesites and they back up to the White River National Forest. This means, there will never be additional homesites. Real estate speculators have already bought some large pieces of available land.

Frying Pan Real Estate is located in Eagle County with less strict zoning regulations than Aspen's Pitkin County. Depending on individual zoning, you may be allowed to have horses, a caretaker's unit, larger homes etc.

If you are looking for a full time residence, and need winter access, the best homes would be on the first 7 miles of the Frying Pan. Also, the south-facing homes provide year round sunshine and warmth. In Colorado, sunshine is very important.
